Frequently asked questions
Can the blur be reversed?
Black box and pixelate permanently replace the original pixels, so they cannot be recovered. Strong blur is also effectively irreversible — for the safest result use black box or pixelate.
Can I cover several areas?
Yes — draw as many boxes as you like. Use Clear to remove them all and start over.
Is my image uploaded?
No — the image is processed locally in your browser and never leaves your device.
